Avail of SEAI Grants for a Boiler Replacement / Boiler Upgrade

You can currently avail of an SEAI grant of €700 euro for replacing your boiler with a high efficiency oil or gas boiler and a heating controls upgrade.
The Irish Government, through SEAI, wishes to encourage people to improve the energy performance of their homes by incentivising the cost of installing various upgrade measures. The Better Energy Homes scheme provides assistance to homeowners to reduce energy use, costs and greenhouse gas emissions and improve the comfort levels within their home.

We strongly recommend a regular annual service for your central heating boiler. Maintenance will ensure its continued performance, reduce running costs and maintain its safe operation. Update Heating Ltd have a Special Offer of a Gas Boiler Service for just €99.
A detailed service will include inspection of the gas pipe work, ventilation, clearances etc. The system is then inspected, cleaned and reassembled. The operation of the boiler functions are then inspected for safe and correct operation. Finally a combustion efficiency test will be carried out to ensure that the appliance is operating at its maximum performance levels.

Domestic carbon monoxide poisoning can be prevented by early detection with the use of household carbon monoxide detectors.
