1. Who can avail of the scheme?
In order to apply for the grant, you must get a quotation from a registered SEI approved heating contractor i.e. Update Heating Ltd (SEI Contractor I.D: 10004). It normally takes 20 days for SEI to process your application by post and only 24 hours if you apply on-line.
All homeowners of dwellings built before 2006 may apply. (Houses built after 2006 onwards should be built to the Building Regulations 2002 Standard which specifies high quality insulation & heating controls).
Landlords and owners of multiple properties may also apply, but they must send a separate application form for each property.
